Welcome and thank you for visiting our website! I have the honor of serving as the 19th president of Pi Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. On behalf of the dedicated members of our chapter, it is my extreme pleasure to greet you.

 

 Since 1987, we have been a strong presence in the City of Cerritos and the surrounding areas (Artesia, Bellflower, and Lakewood) providing community service and other educational activities, such as fundraising activities for scholarships to local high school students, annual runs and Zumba events, financial literacy workshops, and collecting charitable donations that help address the needs of our community. We take immense pride in fulfilling our sorority’s mission of “Service to All Mankind.”

 

Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, our 2022-2026 program theme is “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.” Under this theme, we will focus on the following program initiatives:

Empower Our Families
Build Our Economic Wealth
Enhance Our Environment
Advocate For Social Justice
Uplift Our Local Community
